Before I became a divorce mediator, I was a client navigating the very circumstances I now work in. For over 15 years, I lived through the challenges of co-parenting, child custody, support disputes, and the many complexities that come with domestic relations. Family Law wasn’t just something I studied—it was something I experienced firsthand.
During that time, I often felt disconnected from legal professionals who didn’t seem to fully grasp the emotional weight of what I was going through. I learned—sometimes the hard way—how to advocate for myself and how to identify mediators and attorneys who truly listened to me. To reduce legal costs, I filed court documents myself and educated myself on the process. What started out of necessity became a powerful foundation of knowledge and resilience.
Those years shaped me more than any classroom ever could. They gave me the insight and empathy that now guide my work as a mediator. It was those personal experiences that ultimately led me to pursue a degree in legal studies and a career helping others through similar challenges.
I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, uncertain, and unheard. I also know how transformative it can be to sit across from someone who listens without judgment and helps you move forward with clarity and respect. That’s what I aim to bring to every session.
Divorce and family transitions are deeply personal. My role is not to take sides, but to create a space where both voices are heard—where solutions feel possible, and progress feels real. I’ve been on your side of the table. That perspective shapes everything I do.
