Aside from my professional background, mediation has played a pivotal role in my personal life over the years. I became familiar with mediation and family court during a 15-year period where I navigated co-parenting, child custody, support, and other issues regarding domestic relations as a client. 

During that time, I struggled to connect with legal professionals who understood the sensitive issues I was dealing with. Trial and error allowed me to choose mediators and attorneys I finally felt comfortable with. To save on attorney fees, I often filed court documents myself. The knowledge and resources gained during this time were invaluable. Those experiences inspired me to pursue a law degree and career in mediation.
